→ Are the prices valid per person or per room?

The rates charged are per room although the cost may differ slightly for single, double and triple occupancy. The prices always refer to a room price per night and the all-inclusive daily package.

→ How can I change or cancel my trip?

You can make changes and cancellations directly on our website. Alternatively, you can contact the Bitzaro Palace directly by calling the hotel at +30 26950 22840 or in writing by e-mail to info@bitzaropalace.com. → What should I do if I am not sure if my booking has been confirmed?

If you have not received a confirmation e-mail two hours after the booking, then check first of all if an anti-spam function has been activated in your e-mail program or whether the confirmation e-mail has been moved to another folder as ‘spam’ or ‘junk’. If you have not received a confirmation e-mail, then please contact us via info@bitzaropalace.com. Alternatively, you can call us at +30 26950 22840.

→ How can I contact the hotel?

→ How is the booked service paid for?

Payment of a booked hotel room normally takes place directly in the hotel. Exceptions are for rates that cannot be cancelled and other rates where obligatory advance payment is shown in the booking conditions.

→ Is the transfer from the airport to the hotel and back included in the price?

The transfer can be arranged by the hotel but it is not included in the price.

→ How can I book a trip with more than 3 children?

→ How can I reserve a room suitable for a disabled person?

→ How can I book a group holiday?

You can book for up to 6 travelers online. For groups with more than 6 people, please contact the hotel directly by calling us at +30 26950 22840 or in writing by e-mail to info@bitzaropalace.com. → Do you have any special packages for honeymoons and anniversaries?

Special packages are available for guests celebrating a special occasion upon request.

Rooms / Room Facilities

→ What are the arrival and departure times in the hotel?

The hotel arrival times are from 14:00 pm until 00:00 am and the departure times are from 07:00 am until 12:00 pm.

→ Is my ID/passport required at check in?

Yes, the travel documents of all guests are required.

→ Is it possible to check-in earlier or check-out later?

An early check-in or a late check-out is possible but it cannot be guaranteed as it depends on availability. Instead of an early check-in, however, to be sure of having the room ready upon arrival, you can reserve the room from the night before. Please note that for an early check-in or a late check-out, additional charges apply. For further information please contact the hotel. → How many people can stay in one room?

It depends on the room type. All guest rooms, apart from the Executive room, can accommodate a maximum of three people. Please note that the third bed will be a rollaway bed. The above apply also in case of a baby cot.

→ Do you have connecting rooms?

There are no connecting rooms at the hotel.

→ Is it possible to order an additional baby bed (cot) in a room?

Unfortunately it is not possible. One baby cot can only be provided in each room.

→ Is it possible to get a room upgrade?

It is possible, as long as there is availability. Thus, it cannot be guaranteed.

→ Can I connect to the Internet from my room?

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

→ Do you have a pet policy?

We regret that animals are not allowed in the hotel.

→ Is there a safety deposit box available at the hotel?

There is a safety deposit box in every guest room. They are available at the rate of 3 € per day.

→ Are there any iron facilities in the room?

For security reasons, there are no iron facilities in the room, but you can ask for them at the reception whenever you need them, free of charge.

→ Is there a coffee/tea maker in the room?

Your room is equipped with a coffee/tea maker, along with tea, coffee and sugar.

→ Is there a mini bar in the room?

All the rooms are equipped with a mini refrigerator, not a mini bar.

Hotel / Hotel Facilities

→ How do I get to the hotel?

The Bitzaro Palace is just a 10-minute drive from Zakynthos International Airport “Dionysios Solomos”. It is easily accessible by car. The taxi fare from the airport to the area of Kalamaki is approximately 15 Euros.

→ Are there any shopping centers near the hotel and if so, where are they?

The hotel is 5 mins walk to the main street of Kalamaki Village where there are supermarkets, tourist shops, restaurants and bars.

→ What facilities are available for children?

Kids’ friendly buffet with light dishes as well as high chairs are available at the restaurant. The poolside and the children’s playground may be used only under parental supervision. Baby cots are available on request.

→ Are pool towels provided by the hotel?

Upon arrival, one pool towel per person can be provided. 10 € per towel is requested as a deposit that is given back to you with the return of the towel at the end of your stay.

→ What are the local tourist attractions?

The island is famous for its sandy beaches, the Shipwreck beach and the turtle Caretta-Caretta that spends its reproductive period in Zakynthos during the summer. Kalamaki beach, that is 5 min walk from the Bitzaro Palace, is one of the beaches that the turtles choose to lay their eggs. Another attraction is the town of Zakynthos, with many sites of architectural interest, as well as many restaurant, bars and shops. More specific recommendations adjusted to your interests and needs can be provided to you at the reception desk.

→ What is the best way to see the island?

Car hire is one option. There are points of interest all around the island that are worth seeing. Another option is an organized tour that could take you by bus or boat to the most attractive sites.

→ Do you have a tour desk where I can book excursions during my stay?

We can provide you with any tour information and make recommendations according to your needs at the reception desk.

→ Do you have onsite parking? How much is parking? Is it included in my room rate?

There is an onsite parking, that is free of charge.

→ Is there a doctor available at the hotel?

We have a doctor on call 24 hours.

→ How far is the nearest hospital to the hotel?

The Zakynthos Hospital is10 km away from the hotel. It takes around 20 minutes by taxi.

→ Is it safe to drink tap water?

The tap water in our hotel is not potable, but it is suggested that you drink table water.

→ What is the weather like at different times of the year?

As a general guideline, the weather in Zakynthos is warm during the summer season (May- October). However, the weather is generally most pleasant in May, June, September and October, when there are clear skies and sunshine. Some rain may occur and it may be a bit colder in the evening. The hot season is in July and August, when temperatures reach their highest.

→ Are there any sister hotels? Is it possible to use their facilities?

Our sister hotel is Bitzaro Grande, also situated in Kalamaki. Our shared policy prohibits the use of the facilities of the sister hotel, in order to ensure that your holidays will remain of the highest quality possible.
